Felix Tito Trinidad, CPS Parent, Offers a Conference during Health & Wellness Week at Commonwealth-Parkville School

CPS students and staff had the opportunity of learning more about the life of Puerto Rico Boxing Champion Felix “Tito” Trinidad, CPS parent, today during a conference offered by Tito as part of the Health and Wellness Week activities at the Commonwealth Campus.

 

Tito, as usual, was humble and sincere in his talk mainly addressed to students. He answered all students’ questions and spoke about the importance of keeping focused, disciplined, and following parent, teacher and coach advice.

 

Nobody wanted him to leave and we suspect he didn’t either since after signing autographs and posing for pictures, he decided to join the Zumba class that followed by trainer Paola Díaz. Click here and watch him go!

 

A little known fact::When asked by one of our students which career had he chosen in lieu of boxing, he answered, "an accountant." But then stressed that although he did not study accounting, he has done a good job managing finances and is grateful because although he could not attend a private school, his daughters do. Actually, CPS is fortunate to have three (3) of Tito’s daughters enrolled in CPS.
